This Asylum Car Audio 4-channel amplifier packs a real punch considering its compact size! Measuring at only 10.11 inches x 5.04 inches x 2.34 inches, is a surefire way to install this amp in virtually any vehicle with tons of placement options.
You have multiple configurations to make the amp suitable for many speakers with varying impedances. The Asylum Car Audio CFAM4120 is can power up speakers at 2 or 4 ohms. At 2 ohms is where you'll get the 720 watts (180 per channel). You can also wire up 4 ohm speakers as this amp is compatible. 4 ohms will provide an output of 480 watts (120 per channel) The included Owner's Manual provides details to help you find the most impactful impedance so that your Asylum amplifier performs at its optimum.
The entire outer casing of this amplifier is a heatsink to help cool down the amplifier and prevent over-heating. The linear ridges you see on the sides of the amp are not just a component of design, it's also in fact increasing the surface area of the heatsink. This makes for a much better cooling effect while maintaining the compact size of the amplifier.
The notable vibrant metallic blue color is a pleasant visual when compared to the common black amplifiers on the market. The color is heavily powder-coated as to make the surface scratch resistant.
